Yakima Cat Boarding
can 3 cats travel in cage with owner,Yakima Wa to Buffalo Ny?
2 female passengers want to fly from Yakima Wa to Buffalo Ny and bring three adult cats with them can they carry them on board in a cage ?
It is not mean to bring your cats with you. I am sure you have a good reason for bringing them. Cats do not like change and stress from travel can prove to be upsetting for them. You might want to see if there is a way for the vet to mildly sedate them. I see people on the plane all the time with dogs as carry on. So why not cats? The general rule is one carry on and one personal item. So the cat carrier would be your personal item that would go under your seat. I would think that one cage per cat is the best bet but you know your cats better than me. Do you know your airline yet? If so call them and find out what the rule is. If you do not have one start calling around. I am a big US Air fan but call around to all airlines if you have to find one that will accommodate your needs. I personally would be more comfortable having the cats with me but I am not sure where they would put them - maybe in the luggage compartment. Good luck.
