animal career please?
I would like to work with exotic animals in like a rescue center. I want to save animals from horriable situations, be able to give them medical attention, and take care of them. I truly love animals. I want to work somewhere like the exotic feline rescue center in Indiana. I love Big Cats the most, but i don't want to move to far from home. are there any rescue centers somewhat like that in Wisconsin or Illinois? They dont have to be just for big cats. I love every animal, just big cats a little bit more. and what degree's would i have to get? i'm only in my teens, but i want to know what im ganna do when i grow up.
Get an AAS as a Veterinary Technician. My aunt is one. She works 3 days a week for a vet. She also owns a cattery (kennel for cats) that specializes in special needs cats, like insulin injections. Because she has 2 years of veterinary training, she can do things like administer medications. She can board cats in a comfortable environment, each space has a perch with a window. The vet she works for houses boarders in cages with no windows and a dozen other cats and dogs in there. Very stressful.
