I have 3 cats that go crazy for olives and ranch dressing.?
My three cats (Morph, Randell and Diablo), everyone seems to turn out every time eat a salad with ranch. Not only to jump on me and get in the face, but will also eliminate over my bowl of salad just to rub (lay Riggle and all) in the dressing. Never do this with any other food in my ... unless I eat olives. They try to knock over the jar (I've learned my lesson on that trap) but sometimes just for fun I'll throw an olive on the kitchen floor, and beat on it, rub on it, jump on it and even carry around. Any Thots?
Bizarre, but then, are the cats! Mine liked asparagus. Olives, whether green, have a bit of salt, so it would not allow them too, or you can clarify and see if they still like it! If it's black, you should be fine. Rubbing at the ranch is very strange! That has a lot of garlic in it! Maybe it was the Greek cats in a previous life!
