UK Pet insurance. Anyone who works at the Vets?
If you change insurance companies will they know if you have claimed for a pre-existing condition before? My cat had some X-rays as a kitten, didn`t need treatment then, i since changed companies because i didn`t like the customer service, now a year later, i think my cat will need some treatment.
Do they have a central data base they check?
I will get the work done (maybe £1000) but obviously if i can claim i would rather.
Ooh, dreaming dead.. you got me thinking now.. but i would need a new vet and an explanation. I`m not good at fibs but insurance companies i have no problem with (i work for one and they all make millions, believe me!)
Andy S. - I`m trying to work out if i can do this, but i will have to cancel the insurance and set up with a new company, i`m just worried about them finding out i guess! If i set up new Insurance, then find a new vet, i think it looks a bit suspicious if i claim straight away!
I breed cats insurance is a pain and a rip off but handy when expensive treatment is needed
My advice just give the kitty a different name and register at a different vet
The world is not full of innocent little angels and believe me insurance companies make a huge profit
