For Techs veterinarian or CFA Breeders: What do vaccs cats go outdoors only compound the need for insurance?
I have fear of sarcoma injection site, but want to be sure they are protected. Just built a large outdoor enclosure for our cats can access ... is completely safe, but can not go out and the cable is small enough size that wild cats / wildlife can not bite or have a physical interaction there is a possibility that infected pigs can come and sneezing, nose to nose contact. Vaccs What would you get for your cat in this situation ... where the cat is an indoor cat who has access to an enclosure safe outdoor (Think of a large courtyard enclosed on all sides, including the top, with a small gauge wire)?
Rabies vaccine is required because by law, in addition to animals from outside can potentially exposed. And also to vaccinate Fecvrp (distemper combo) at least 2 years in a row for adults (after to get the number of cat), then maybe everyone else every 3 years to receive a booster dose. Get or 3 years rabies vaccine (vaccine at least applicable) or a vaccine, like Purevax containing no adjuvant (believed to cause the most common reaction). The Feline Leukemia Vaccine should be given only if no risk from cat to cat contact.
