Do I have a 'good' starting kit for a new kitty!?
I am adopting a kitten and tomorrow I want to make sure that the essential ..... But I have little money for luxuries yet! so is this enough?! : Bol -water/food junk food kitty litter box and a pinch of Cat scratch pad thing (it will help prevent the cat from scratching on furniture and such?) is pretty good for now?! any suggestions on any anything would be greatly appreciated!
Ok, you have a good start. I would make sure to talk with people with the kitten and trying to get the same kind of food. If food was changed to fast, the cat can not eat, or which may become ill. Another thing I want to do is find a veterinarian that you like. open during normal hours and a second one hour 24, just in case. The notebook is great that you have, but realizes that may need a second. Cardboard beings are around a couple dollars are excellent. Something to think about for the future, plastic food bowls can give a cat "acme cat", which is not too good. Use food ceramic bowls, as they last longer and do not rust like metal. If the cat is long hair and will need a brush to brush a lot. Toys are needed for kitty keep moving and fun. Some dried catnip used a little here and there, there is fun for you and the cat.
