Why do my two year old cat peeing around the house?
Is there anything I can do to stop this behavior? She has done this since I was a kitten. Half the time you use the litter box, the other half pees on the floor or on blankets, clothes and other things that may be out there. Never poops on anywhere but her litter box but we've always had problems with his pee EVERYWHERE.
believe it or not, rubbing her nose in it works on cats too. My cat did this to a terrible degree. I would be sitting on the couch and he jumps on me, meow, and then proceed to pee on the mattress beside me. get him fixed helped a lot, so if she is not sterile, they can help. she is old, however, so may not be able to break the habit.
