The story behind the name. When we first brought in Little Bitcher, he cried a lot. When he was picked up, he'd let out a whiny sounding meow. Dale and I thought that he reminded us of Dale's brother. He's known for being bitchy and complaining a lot, so we joked about naming this little kitten Adam. Instead, we took to calling him Little Bitcher, or Elbie for short, and the name stuck. (Adam still considers Elbie to be his namesake and wanted to be sure I let everyone know.)
Even though he's technically a shorthair, Little Bitcher's fur is longer than a typical shorthair. The tail on his hair is long, giving a very full, fluffy appearance. When he's sleepy, Little Bitcher is fond of suckling on toes- either his own or those of his siblings. He likes to sleep with us at night. He's also very fond of napping on Dale's lap.
Overall, Little Bitcher is a very good-natured and loving little cat.
