Kitten Updates
January 2, 2002 - Today I received two emails enquiring about the kittens. I responded and got a prompt reply from a man. We exchanged a few phone calls and he came out to see Stain and Velcro. Velcro decided to play shy guy, but after a few minutes, Stain was demanding attention. The man said that he may not have made up his mind but was picked by a kitten instead. After a few last hugs and kisses, Dale and I said goodbye to Stain.

December 12, 2001 - This evening, a couple and their three children came by to see the kittens. Unanimously, they all decided to take Shiner. It didn't hurt that he walked right up to the children. They seemed like very nice people, so my only regret about saying goodbye to Shiner was how much I'll miss him. I almost couldn't let him go. Especially after saying goodbye to Kahlua just the day before.

December 11, 2001 - A young woman and her boyfriend came by to meet the kittens. After spending some time with my little ones, she decided to take Kahlua home. I can't blame her. He's such a sweet and gorgeous little cat! I'm going to miss him so much.

August 18, 2001 - A young man came by to meet the kittens. He ended up taking Guinness home. We're all both happy and sad. We're certainly going to miss that sweet baby.

July 20, 2001 - Mom was outside chasing grasshoppers (she's weird that way) when she almost literally stumbled across two more kittens! These must be from my sister Claire's litter. According to my last post about her, they must be just over a month old now.

Boy, they're tiny.

March 20, 2001 - These are my nephews and niece. My Mom and Dad have rescued them from the big, bad outdoors. (You can read about that here.) The smaller black one is Velcro, 'cause he can cling to you like you wouldn't believe. The larger black one is Stain, 'cause of the big smear of dried food that had to be washed off his butt the other night. The grey and white one is Little Bitcher. Guess why. And we don't have a name for the grey girl yet. If you have any suggestions, please send them to me!

June 2, 2001 - Well, yesterday Sister Pete showed up on the patio with a fifth kitten! It was raining, and we didn't want him to end up feral too, so Mom brought him inside with the others. This newest boy is named Kahlua. He's going to have long hair. It's really really pretty! He's got a black face, ears, legs, and tail, but his body is brown, and the places between the black and brown are light grey! Oh, and Mom has started to call the grey girl Bailey.
