How to tell if a cat is a stray dog or property?
There is a feral cat in our neighborhood and has been wandering the streets for four months. For me this is very strange because there has been a stray cat in years. There are cats out, but stay in your yard. I've been feeding it the first day I saw him. He has earned my trust. But if anyone else about it, dashes away. It's a girl so I have no idea whether her sterilized. Looks healthy to me but I live in Florida and theres a lot of things misqiutos and what might have heartworms. It is litterbox trained. I placed a collar with her and a day next it was gone. I do not know if he escaped or something. It also has fleas! But she is very sweet and I am more than happy to take it!
Please leave SPAM the same question over and over again. Take her to a vet and have scanned for a chip. If you do not have one – and not wearing a collar – then get chips and license with your information and keep it inside. If someone owns this cat is clearly not very concerned that if they are letting them roam free and has no identification.
