Feline Leukemia Treatment

feline leukemia treatment
What should I do with my foster feline leukemia positive cat?

I took in a kitten that was dumped off near my house. He has tested positive for feline leukemia twice now. Both the ELISA and the immunofluorescence test are positive. The goal was to find a house, but now I'm stuck. Is it simply have sacrificed? Most research I've done does not recommend this, but I'm looking for are stories of cats that have lived with the disease. If you has a story to share with me, I appreciate it. When the cat is diagnosed, what treatment is used, how long the cat alive, etc. I am particularly interested in cats diagnosed as kittens. Currently, the kitten is kept in a room away from my cats. He is such a great little man I am absolutely caused so much havoc.
