should i stop stoning my cats?

today i bought some organic catnip and it said it ‘was the strongest nip on the market’. i got it at the dollar store..usa grown..can u believe it!..i gave my two cats a hit and they went wild..didn’t even want to eat..just wanted to stone out and play,rub and act crazy…so what the deal?..am i a drug pusher with this catnip?..i feel guilty. are they getting high? they like the cat weed..but i am serious..am i stoning my kitties.?.maybe i should toke with them or something..they do not get the munchies ..but should i stop the cat weed?..are they getting high? ‘Baby’ my tabby gets glassy eyed and weird..the Angora..’Pinky’ rolls around in circles and meows crazy like.Omar my chow looks at them thinking WTF!.

Lol! Cats love it just as the last answer monitor how much you give and how often. It’s also got some other uses. I rubbed a new cat scratch board with it to stop my cats scratching the furniture and it worked. It’s cute watching them but seriously monitor it lol. Should I purchase a cat playpen? Is it worth the money? ?

We adopted a 3 month old kitten about a month ago from a shelter. The kitten sleeps in my 6 year old daughters room. Ever since we got the kitten my daughter sleeps with the door closed because we can’t let the kitten roam the entire house all night. We have two boxers that sleep in our living room in their crates at night but if they see the kitten they will bark all night and not let us sleep. I also have a yorkie that sleeps in my bedroom in her crate at night. Lately my daughter is scared and wants to sleep with her bedroom door open and that’s fine with me so i was thinking of buying one of those midwest cat playpens (see link)http://www.midwesthomes4pets.com/categor…

for her kitten and leaving the kitten in there at night that way she could leave her door open. The kitten wouldn’t be in there all day just from about 9:30 PM to about 6:30 AM. Would this be a good idea? I don’t want to re-home the kitten but I don’t know what else to do. Help!!!

that large one is the kind we use at our shelter. I think it is a great idea! kittens can get into too much trouble when left out to play all night, they can also get hurt or get into dangerous stuff or chew cords. If you can afford it then get the big one (three shelves, 4 doors) there is plenty of room in them for food dishes, bed, toys, and a litter box. Great idea! It will be worth every penny!

I have three chihuahua puppy’s and i need to get them something for when they leave to go to another home!!!

I have three chihuahua puppy’s and i need to get them something for when they leave to go to another home!It is between a baby blanket,Cat Toys(they are like kittens)or both??????

I’d go to The Goodwill store and pick up a cheap bunch of receiving blankets and send that with them. Before you send it, though, let them sleep with it, and with their mom. If you want to send toys with them, go for it too. But a blanket that is soft and cuddly, and smell like mommy and siblings will help the loneliness. We also take a soft blanket (and rub it all over their humans) to the vet when we have a dog being spayed or neutered, that way when they wake up, they have something that smells familiar and like home.

Is the Platinum version worth the extra money?

I think it is because it holds so much more water. I feel more comfortable leaving my dogs for a few hours with it. Is it a bird, is it a plane…or is it a train?

Here I sit in a beautifully decorated caboose waiting for everyone to arrive for a fab four-day fun fest…the decorations have all been put up, the cabins, too…a different theme in each one. I wonder which cabin each of the guests will pick. (and if anyone will actually sleep in their own cabin even once during the journey)
I have chosen the Kitty Cabin…it has an en-suite sand box and a mouse-shaped jacuzzi filled with milk…

Do you think I’ll have to wait much longer?
Do you think I’ll have to fight for my cabin, or will they pick one of the other ones?

What cabins do you have in red?

I am planning on bringing a multitude of toys, so please have them drape an entire cabin in red satin with throw pillows. Ted and I would also prefer a feather bed if possible and maybe 10-15 extra pillows if that is no problem, the jacuzzies are going to be lighted right… do you have a padded option on that?
