Cheap Cat Scratching Posts
Will bathtub rust? I asked last night about scratches and i was wrong on the cause of them?
OK..I posted last night and said i had tons of scratches on the bottom of my bathtub from my cats..I assumed it was because i live alone and could not for the LIFE of me figure out what happened to the bathtub when i looked at it.
It seems like when someone looked at it today that all the lines..tons of them are cracks in the porcelain from what someone told me..spider cracks that came from possibly the tub shifting somehow or a defect in the tub itself..i had the tub put in new 13 yrs ago. NOTHING ..was done to the tub...no one dropped anything so this is the only answer that seems to make sense to me. The man told me the "spider cracks" were a defect in the coating itself. Does this make sense to anyone? Do i have to worry about it rusting somewhere down the line??????...Again it is a porcelain tub over steel...my brother put it in and i'm sure it was a cheap bathtub.
I doubt it would rust since it would be wet continually. Be sure to dry it if you will be gone for a few days.
