Cat Health Eye Discharge
why is my cats eye is tearing?
My cat is 14 years old and has a hyper thyroid problem that we give her medicine for. Otherwise, she seems to be in good health. We took her to the ve a couple months ago, she a had fracture in her back but we gave her pain medicine and she seems to have healed. Her eyes have a little clear discharge the last couple weeks but today there was a big drop of it out of her right eye. Her left eye still has a little but not as much as the right. It is a clear discharge. Any help would be great, thank you.
Since you have an older cat, tearing kinda comes with the territory, either that or severely dry eyes.
As long as it stays clear, and you see no other signs of problems then your cat should be fine.
