The furry little creature that you call your pet cat is a tremendously independent being that tends to mark its territory and guard it. One of the most important pieces of cat furniture is a cat house. Cats like to sit and observe what is happening and it is their natural trait to guard their territory. Cat Tree houses are available in different sizes: from just 36 inches up to more than 7 feet high. It all depends on the location where you intend to place it. Cat houses can be stool-like flat seats or even a cave-like structure. They can also be a hollow tube or pod in which the cat can easily fit.
Other types of cool cat furniture include a scratch post. Cats love to scratch various items all the time to keep their claws sharp. You would certainly not like to have scratch marks on the arm rest of your favorite chair. If you have a scratch post you can make your obedient cat keep its claws and its scratching habits only to its scratch post! Modern cat furniture also includes a wooden litter cabinet that can be used for different purposes, like a bed side table or a bathroom cabinet.
A play tunnel for your cat is another piece of cat furniture that you cat would love having. All cats love little hiding places and this will probably give you the opportunity to bring out the child in you, as you play hide and seek with your pet cat!

Cats have been worshipped since the Ancient Egyptians and indeed most felines think that their role in life is to allow us humans to worship them and fulfil their every waking need; 24/7. But cats also like to be slightly aloof at times; they like places to sleep where we humans cannot enter. So they like the insides of cupboards or the space under the bed and they love modern cat furniture like the pEiPod. This isn't a modern cat house, but rather a ‘pied a terre', for the well heeled cat who knows what he or she likes and has a very clear way of letting you know what he or she likes.
In the Victorian era and even later, well off gentlemen often lived in the country, but they had a ‘pied a terre' in town. This was a space they could crash in, a gentlemen's pad, somewhere rather special and somewhere the ladies in his life did not visit. Well, the pEiPod is the most advanced feline ‘pied a terre' that you will find. Cats adore the way it is somewhere they can retreat to; after all, adulation can be tiresome after a while and they need somewhere private to go to and simply relax. That gives the humans time to reflect on how lucky they are to be allowed to have a feline in their lives and gives the cat time off from being adored. Humans don't appreciate just how adulation wears a cat out and it can simply be exhausting, hence why they need to get away every so often and recharge their batteries. Us humans also need to take time off from adoring them to see to their other needs, like their litter trays and food.
But, although humans often overlook this, cats are often very busy as well and modern cat furniture gives them the chance to be busy without humans knowing what they are doing. Often the being ‘busy' is about simply staring, sometimes it is about listening to something inaudible (to human ears) and sometimes (to human eyes) they don't seem to be doing much at all. So because humans patently don't understand feline activities, the pEiPod can double up as a safe space for them to be ‘busy' in, without humans inferring that they are actually just sitting around doing nothing!
The pEiPod can also be washed, which is great if you have a real tomboy cat who is always coming in mucky. But delicate little madam cats will also look great in a pink pied a terre! If only cats could talk, they would certainly issue an instruction that several pEiPods to be ordered, probably in a variety of colours!
