Schedule time each day for them to play and have fun.Finally, cats have been known at times to hiss and swat their paws at people or other animals. This is a behavior that is usually shown when the cats are afraid, anxious or upset. If they are uncomfortable around strangers, they might display this behavior.
They might also do something like this if they are afraid of another cat or of a dog. Ways to fix this are to socialize your cat with other people and animals as much as possible. Give them time with other people like family or friends, and encourage them to play with other cats you might know.
