Alley Cat Pet Store
I found a pretty large turtle in the alley behind my house being attacked by a cat- how do I care for it?
It's a big pointy sucker, probably 8-9" from head end of shell to tail end of shell. I live in Ohio where it's getting down to frost temps at night- we're trying to find its owner with no luck- what should I do? We put it in the biggest empty cardboard box we had on hand with a bowl of water and some lettuce & carrots... any help is much appreciated. Thinking about going to a pet store in a few days to give to them if nothing changes... thanks
the pet store probably wouldnt take a box turtle you foundlol, but it sounds like your doing everything you can to care for the little guy, make sure you clean his box out often also, but im suree you aready do that...you sound like a caring person, your probably just the right person to find the little guy and take care of him!
