And another one is gone
This evening, a man and his wife and their three children came by to meet the remaining kittens. Immediately, Shiner walked right up to the children and won their hearts. The family unanimously decided to take him home.
Mom seemed pleased with the family and the children's reactions to Shiner. She even gave them one of the little toys that Shiner likes so much. But as soon as the door closed behind them, she started crying and told Dad, "I want him back! I want them both back!"
Poor Mom.

Bye bye, little one
Poor Mom is sad right now. Earlier, a pretty young lady came over with her boyfriend, and they met the kittens. Miss Erin took a liking to Kahlua, so he ended up going home with them. We're all a little sad now, 'cause we're going to miss the little guy. But we're sure Miss Erin is going to be a great Mom. Otherwise, my Mom wouldn't have let Kahlua go.

Poor Little Guy
I overheard Mom on the phone a little while ago. It sounds like Shiner has a vet appointment early tomorrow morning.
He'll be coming home from it a few ounces lighter, if you know what I mean. (Ouch!)
